Michelle is a seasoned presenter, keynote speaker, facilitator, and coach. She has a passion for designing leadership institutes, professional learning programs and community events in close partnership with clients and teams; both national and internationally. Michelle is a creative thought partner who’s life work is dedicated to racial justice, equity, and inclusion. She has a passion for research, discourse, and on-the-ground implementation, alongside communities of leaders and learners.

Michelle holds a BA in Research and Policy, from San Francisco State University and Master’s degree in Leadership Development from Mills College, including postgraduate research in DEI assessment and evaluation; and is a guest lecturer and research associate for a number of universities in the US and abroad.

Michelle is also the founder and executive director of the Center of Gravity: lab-schools centered around DEI, STEM, and the arts.
